Makkah al-Mukaramah , Madinah al-Munawarah

As it is written above, yes I went back to these two lovely places on earth. The house of God, Baitul-Allah Haram (the Sacred House of Allah). The house was originally built by our grandfather, Adam (PBUH) after he was sent down to this earth after transgressed his limits by eating the forbidden fruit. Then it was destroyed by the great flood of Noah (PBUH) and rebuilt by the patriach of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, Ibrahim/Abraham (PBUH) and the father of Arabs , Ismail / Ishmael (PBUH). Basically the oldest yet the most modern place of worship in the world.

Makkah as what it is, the center of the world where everyone from all walks of life, from all over the world, gather and perform duties commanded by Allah through His revelation (i.e. Qur'an) and the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH(Sunna).
This is the place where there is no discrimination between rich and poor, white and black, where everyone pray side by side with a sense of unity and humanity. Everyone is united by one faith and nationality is the thing of the past, where you greet "Assalamualaikum" or "Peace be upon you" which is the uniting language of all Muslims. Let it be an American or a Brazilian or a German or an Arab or a Tanzanian or an Arab or a Russian or an Indian or a Malaysian or a Chinese or a Japanese.

Makkah as well is the most happening spot on earth where the Mosque is open 24hrs 365days year round and open to Muslims only. There is this sense of return than travelling where this is the spot where lies the greatest written history on earth. You got the Kaabah, built by Adam (PBUH) and rebuilt by Ibrahim (PBUH), then the ZamZam well which was found after Hajar / Hagar was looking for water when Ishmael (PBUH) was thirsty and etc. The Holy Mosque is full of wonders where it is not just a place of prayers, but a place of gathering, a place of dating (for married couples of course), a place of picnic (during Ramadan where everyone breaks fast together), a place of meditating, and a place where children likes to run around, hide and seek and get lost (Yes it happened to me when I was 4)...

The Kaabah alone is a wonder of its own. Simple yet elegant and full of wonders. Why it has to be a cube ? Why no extra decorations like what you see in temples or in churches ? Compared to the temples in the far east, it is very simple. No, we don't worship the Kaabah nor God manifest in it or assuming God is in there.

anyway sorry for waiting, here are the pics

wasaski : Yup indeed it is an excellent experience. I used to go there every year and restarted my Umrah last year after 6 years break... Well so far for years I've been for Umrah, only last year I started seeing people taking pictures...and you see flashes here and there !!! it is inevitable, so they'd allow in the end. Just be more careful when taking picture...Gotta ask permission from Allah first before u take. If camera taken away, it's at Allah's will then I'd say....
