Death...

Remember when you finished your semester exams you'd be shouting MERDEKA !!! (FREEDOM !!! ). While those who couldn't do it would be so worried and anxious whether he/she will be able to make it to the next world.

Yes, indeed this is true in Islam in regards about death. As I have mentioned in my previous "not so well done" poem about life. It came across in my mind after watching another good video by Amr Khaled (In Thy Name, We Live) which was about God's 99 Beautiful Names (Asma ul-Husna). which was Al-Rahman and Al-Raheem (The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful).

It is mentioned that at the time of the death of a true believer, he will be surrounded by Angels standing / sitting in circle and congratulating him that he has passed his exam and its time for him to meet the Lord. Yes, and the grave is the waiting hall to the most grand graduation ceremony , that will be the day of Recompense. So a true believer wouldn't find the grave to be narrow and torturing but a wide, comfortable place to be.

The question is, are we true believers ? Are we following the answers given by God to pass the exam in this world ? Think about it... God has given us the answers for the trial in this life and yet we stick to our worldly desire, and also the devil who keeps on giving us the wrong answer although they seem to be right.

Here is the video and I hope you would learn something new out of it.

Salaams, Very insightful post as usual. I have not been able to visit the blogs I read in a while, so it was nice to read your blog today and I especially enjoyed the "Great Sunday" post with all the pics. You should post more pics when possible, for those of us who don't live in Japan to see. I loved the architecture of the buildings. Keep blogging!
