Hanabi at Tenjin-matsuri
Finally finished Calculus III paper and dashed off to Temmabashi, Osaka for Tenjin Matsuri but I spent most of the time shooting the fireworks display. It was the night before, Masaharu mailed me about the trip, so I decided to go there as I haven't been to any of these 3 main festivals in Japan....
Waited for about 2 hours and boy, it was packed (ref picture below : taken around 5.30 pm).... luckily we managed to get a place to sit... so while waiting, i took some nonsense pictures of my friends, ppl around (didn't dare to take women in yukata without their permission... legal or not ? even if it is in a group?) and etc...
The fireworks display was splendid as well as you get to see a lot of beautiful chicks out there in their traditional summer clothes @ Yukata.... XD .... But dang, we didn't take the plunge and go after a group of chicks (waiting for us to court them =P) ... Well there were about 6-7 girls in yukata were grouping nearby... I sense something amiss as everyone was leaving but they were gathering up.... I didn't go after them as I had that "otaku" looks or my mind wasn't there...
A big regret didnt go after them =(.... but u'd never know it may be a trap....
